I  started making bears in 1993 and very quickly became addicted - I just had to make one more. While I make bears of all sizes I love to create bears under 6"/15cm. They sit so snugly in the palm of your hand.  I like to use mohair for my bears but also use upholstery velvets, cashmere  and ultrasuede. I make all the bears clothes and hand knit the jumpers even for the 3" bears. 

I also like to make Gollies ,which are a lot of fun to create. 

I also love to repair old and well loved bears.

I enjoy teaching bearmaking and also run a group for bearmakers.
