I  started making bears in 1993 and very quickly became addicted - I just had to make one more.

While I make bears of all sizes I love to create bears under 6"/15cm. They sit so snuggly in the palm of your hand.  I like to use mohair for my bears but also use upholstery velvets, cashmere  and ultrasuede. I make  the bears clothes and hand knit some of the jumpers even for the 3" bears which can be quite challenging.  I also make Gollies, which are a lot of fun to create. 

I have a small collection of old bears and am particularly fond of English Chilterns.

I repair old and well loved bears and also hold classes to teach  bearmaking.
